Artist League Project
Artist League is a multidisciplinary dance studio located at the southern end of the city of Delhi.
On October of 2022, I was commissioned to prepare a couple of murals which best represented
what the collective is all about and what experience it provides to the viewers.
The whole objective of the project was to prepare an environment for artists of all kind to
come and experience a sense of belonging that the space provides and makes them believe that
they are a part of a bigger revolution in the art world.
Firstly, we decided upon the aesthetics and came up with a logotype which was decided as
secondary logo for future collaterals.
FINAL LOGOTYPE
There were multiple attributes that we kept in mind before creating this logotype.
This logo serves as a representation of the current trendsetting. It highly exhales the early
80's aesthetic and vibrancy through its type design and color selection. The free flowing type
style depicts an artistic signature with neon type style infused aesthetic. Multiple colors
represents that the studio doesn't serve one particular art form but multiple
contemporary forms therefore building a sense of community.
Lastly we added a bit of drips around the design representing the raw graffiti like look and feel.

Once the logotype was decided and approved, we went on with creating our first mural right
beside the studio entrance gate. This is also clearly visible from the staircase right across the
front porch. The mural serves as an identification and recognizable mark for viewers.

A second design was created according to the canvas size that was provided right outside the studio.
The size of the wall was smaller as compared to the other ones we were working on.
To maintain the aesthetic, keeping the color palette in mind we specifically designed a
cassette tape which perfectly fulfilled our requirements.
Third mural inside the studio space
A third design particularly a character was created for the inside space.
The character represents the 80's prominent fashion style looking beyond the sunset colored
horizon in a dreamlike state. We managed to incorporate the color extensions at the back of the
character's head to maintain the aesthetic identity across all the murals .
